1. Company and platform overview

Aayojan (operated by Aayojan Technologies Pvt. Ltd., registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India) is a B2C online marketplace that connects individual customers with verified professional service providers for weddings, celebrations and events. The platform operates at aayojanapp.com and the Aayojan mobile application.

Aayojan enables customers to discover, compare, shortlist, request quotes from and book professional event service providers including photographers, caterers, wedding venues, decorators, makeup artists, DJs, wedding planners, priests and related service categories. All service providers listed on the platform are independent businesses that have been reviewed and approved by the Aayojan team before their profiles go live. Aayojan does not itself provide any event services; it is a technology platform that facilitates connections between customers and verified service businesses.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing aayojanapp.com, creating an account, using any feature of the platform, requesting a quote, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users of the platform including customers, service providers (vendors) and visitors. By using the platform on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms. These terms are effective as of May 2026 and may be updated from time to time as described in Section 16.

3. User eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable Indian law to use Aayojan's account-based features including making bookings and payments. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

If you are accessing the platform on behalf of another person (such as planning an event for a family member), you take responsibility for ensuring that the use complies with these terms. Aayojan reserves the right to terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

4. Account registration and security

Certain features of the platform require account creation via email/password or mobile OTP. You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify Aayojan immediately at hello@aayojanapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Aayojan will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.

Aayojan reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these terms, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the platform.

5. Service provider listings and content

All service providers (vendors) listed on Aayojan must apply and be approved by the Aayojan team. Aayojan reviews vendor identity, business legitimacy and profile quality before activation. However, Aayojan does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or quality of any vendor's services, portfolio or pricing.

Vendor business pages may include photographs, videos, service packages, price ranges, portfolio work, ratings, reviews and availability indicators. This content is provided by the vendor and may change over time. Customers are advised to confirm final scope, pricing, schedule and terms directly with the vendor before making a payment.

Aayojan may remove, edit or restrict vendor listings that contain false, misleading or inappropriate content. The rating and review system reflects genuine customer experiences and is moderated to prevent abuse.

6. Quotes, booking requests and confirmations

Quote requests sent through the platform are expressions of interest. A quote from a vendor is indicative unless explicitly confirmed by the vendor in writing. A booking is confirmed only when both the customer and the vendor have agreed to the scope, price and event date, and any required advance payment has been processed.

Aayojan facilitates the booking workflow but is not a party to the service agreement between the customer and the vendor. The customer and vendor are directly responsible for fulfilling their respective obligations under any confirmed booking.

Aayojan's chat feature enables direct communication between customers and vendors regarding scope, pricing and logistics. Customers are advised to keep records of confirmed scope and pricing for their reference.

7. Payments and advance processing

Where advance payment is required or chosen, payments on the Aayojan platform are processed securely through Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed Payment Aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India). By making a payment on our platform, you agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Aayojan collects advance service payments on behalf of vendors as a payment facilitator. The advance amount paid constitutes partial or full payment toward the service booking as confirmed. Aayojan does not store, process or have access to your full card number or CVV. All card transactions are handled on Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.

All amounts displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR). Payments are subject to applicable taxes as communicated at checkout. Transaction records are available in your account under Bookings and Quotes.

8. Cancellation, rescheduling and refund policy

Cancellation and refund terms vary by vendor and are disclosed on the vendor's booking page before payment. Customers must review the specific cancellation policy of the vendor before confirming a booking.

General platform guidelines are as follows: (a) Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event date may be eligible for full or partial refund depending on the vendor's policy. (b) Cancellations within 15–30 days may attract a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the advance paid. (c) Cancellations within 7 days of the event may not be refundable.

Rescheduling is subject to vendor availability and may be accommodated without additional fees if made sufficiently in advance. In the event of a vendor cancellation, Aayojan will make best efforts to facilitate a replacement or refund.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method. For refund requests or disputes, contact support@aayojanapp.com with your booking reference.

9. Vendor obligations

Service providers listed on Aayojan agree to: (a) maintain accurate, current and truthful business profiles, portfolios, pricing and availability information; (b) respond to customer enquiries and quote requests within a reasonable timeframe; (c) fulfil confirmed bookings as agreed; (d) hold all applicable licenses, permits and insurance required for their service category; (e) comply with applicable laws including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, GST regulations and labour laws; and (f) handle customer data received through the platform only for purposes of service delivery.

Vendors who repeatedly fail to fulfil bookings, receive sustained negative reviews, or violate these terms may have their listings suspended or permanently removed. Aayojan reserves the right to withhold or refund advance payments in cases of confirmed vendor default.

10. Customer obligations

Customers using Aayojan agree to: (a) provide accurate event requirements and contact information when requesting quotes or bookings; (b) treat vendors respectfully in all platform communications; (c) honour confirmed bookings or communicate cancellation requests in a timely manner; (d) provide fair and honest reviews based on actual service experience; and (e) not use the platform to make fraudulent or speculative booking requests.

Customers who misuse the platform, submit false reviews, or repeatedly fail to honour confirmed bookings may have their accounts suspended.

11. Prohibited conduct

The following activities are prohibited on the Aayojan platform: (a) submitting fraudulent, spam or bulk enquiries; (b) scraping, copying or distributing platform content without written permission; (c) attempting to circumvent the platform by directly soliciting vendors discovered through Aayojan for off-platform transactions with the intent to evade platform fees; (d) posting false reviews or ratings; (e) impersonating another person or business; (f) attempting unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its systems; (g) introducing malware or disruptive code; (h) using the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Violations may result in account suspension, legal action or both.

12. Intellectual property

All platform content, software, design, branding, logos, copy and technology owned by Aayojan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is protected by copyright, trademark and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any Aayojan platform content without express written permission.

Vendors retain ownership of portfolio content they upload. By uploading content to the platform, vendors grant Aayojan a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform and in promotional materials relating to the platform.

13. Third-party services

Aayojan uses third-party services to operate the platform, including Firebase (Google LLC) for database and authentication, Razorpay for payment processing, and cloud infrastructure services. Your use of the platform is also subject to the applicable terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers.

Links to external websites or services are provided for convenience only. Aayojan is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party websites.

14. Limitation of liability and disclaimer

Aayojan provides its platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Aayojan disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform and any services booked through it.

Aayojan is not liable for: (a) any act or omission by a vendor in connection with a booked service; (b) service quality disputes between customers and vendors; (c) indirect, consequential or punitive damages; (d) losses arising from force majeure events; or (e) any loss arising from a customer's reliance on vendor-provided information that proves inaccurate.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or other applicable Indian consumer protection legislation. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the advance amount paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

15. Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute between a customer and a vendor arising from a booking, both parties are encouraged to first attempt resolution directly through the platform's chat and support tools.

If direct resolution is not achieved within 15 days, either party may escalate the dispute to Aayojan's support team at support@aayojanapp.com with full details of the booking, the issue and any prior communications. Aayojan will review the dispute and provide a non-binding recommendation within 10 working days.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

16. Updates, changes and contact

Aayojan may update these Terms of Use as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users or via a notice on the platform before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
